The VK 230 Steamer uses hot, pressureless steam to produce good results with vegetables, rice, fish, shellfish and meat, retaining the foods nutrients and flavor. The VK 230 can hold up to 6 quarts of liquid, so you can cook in water, wine or stock. A glass lid lets you monitor food as it cooks, while the controls allow you to adjust the temperature in 10-degree increments from 100 to 200°F.
