IBM (28L1632) Tape Drive - The IBM 10/20GB TR5 Internal IDE Tape Drive is the newest member of IBM's Travan tape backup family. This tape drive provides a cost-effective, high-reliability tape backup solution for most desktop systems. The 10/20GB TR5 Internal IDE Tape Drive features 10 GB native capacity and a backup rate of up to 1 MB/sec. With the use of software-controlled data compression, the drive capacity can be increased up to 20 GB, and the backup rate can be increased up to 2 MB/sec. This is equivalent to 7.2 GB/hr. The IBM 10/20GB TR5 is an excellent choice for customers who want a low-cost, high-reliability backup solution for today's desktop systems. The drive uses the NS20 (or TR5) Data Cartridge from IBM or Imation.
