Seagate TapeStor STD2401LW (std2401lw-b) DAT Tape Drive - Seagate's award-winning Scorpion 40 DDS-4 internal tape drive is the ideal backup product for high-performance workstations or low-end to midrange server environments. Based on the industry-standard DDS (DAT) format, it features up to 40-Gbytes compressed capacity per cartridge and backup speeds of up to 330 Mbytes per minute. Seagate DDS internal solutions include installation accessories and the Tape Resource CD. The Scorpion 40 DDS-4 DAT is the most reliable DDS drive with an MTBF rating of 483,000 hours at 12% duty cycle. The Scorpion 40 stores up to 40GB (2:1 compression) of data per cartridge. With its Ultra2 SCSI LVD interface, the Scorpion 40 tranfers data at speeds up to 5.5 MB per second or 19.8 GB per hour greatly decreasing the time needed to back up your data
