IBM (02K4280) Analog Modem - The IBM International PC Card Modem with GSM capability combines ITU-T standard analog data/fax modem functions and digital GSM cellular capability in one PCMCIA card. In addition to V.34 data and V.17 fax standard support, the modem also includes K56 protocol. The GSM capability is available through the purchase of an upgrade pack for any of the supported GSM cellular phones. The modem is upgradeable to ITU standard V.90 56K.??Software country selector allows the user to click on the country in which they are traveling and is compatible with many popular data and fax communication software applications. The IBM International PC Card Modem features digital cellular capability for selected models of Nokia, Alcatel, AEG, NEC, and Panasonic cellular phones.
