1999 Suzuki Swift - The Suzuki Swift is available in only one model for this year. It is equipped with the fuel efficient 79-hp 1.3 liter 4-cylinder engine which has allowed the Swift to attain some of the best EPA-estimated milage ratings: 39 miles per gallon in the city and 43 miles per gallon on the highway. This ranks the Swift among the three most fuel efficient cars in America. Safety features include next generation dual airbags, side door impact beams and daytime running lights. The Swift offers optional accessories such as air conditioning, four-speaker AM/FM stereo cassette and a CD changer. MacPherson struts and coil springs are used on the fully independent four-wheel suspension in order to provide responsive handling and a comfortable ride.
