2000 Rolls-Royce Corniche - The first car to wear the Corniche name was introduced by Rolls-Royce in 1971, the same year that Rolls-Royce Motorcars Ltd. was formed. The Corniche has always been a convertible, and the car that was just introduced in North America in January is quite befitting of the name. And the name is of importance, as this could be the last vehicle built at the Crewe facilities to wear the Rolls-Royce nameBMW takes possession of the name in 2003. Each Corniche is hand-built to order, with the likelihood that no two will be alike. However, with a limited run of only 400 and a cost comparable to that of a luxury home, the odds of seeing two Corniches at the same time are pretty low.
